The facility's opening hours are as follows:

Weekdays - 7:00 - 22:00

Weekend - 7:00 - 20:00

During these times, you may use the facility's facilities as a member and holder of a riding card. Outside these times, the facility is closed, which means that you are not allowed to ride in the paddock or arena. In the month of July, the facility is closed.

Manege information and trainer policy

Our arena has fiber sand as a substrate and measures a maximum of 42x62 meters. The arena can be divided into two or three smaller riding arenas.

The paddock has a sand-mixed surface and measures 22x55 meters. It has a roof and sidewall, which makes it rideable all year round.

  • Riders who train at GFRK's facility must pay a riding fee. Before the riding tracks can be used, an agreement for a riding card must have been concluded between the right-of-use holder and the grantor (Gfrk) and a fee must have been paid. Contact operations manager via email: operations manager@gfrk.se to enter into an agreement. 

  • Manege fee 
    Per semester: 3300 :-
    Spring term January 1-June 30 (with reservation for possible background work in years 26 and 27)
    Autumn semester 1 August - 31 December
    Per calendar month: 1000 :-
    Names of rider and horse must be stated on the payment (Bg 439-2106). The fee must be paid before the first riding occasion, paid fee is not refunded. In order for riders to be able to redeem riding cards on a semester or monthly basis, they must be a member of the association. You pay the membership feehere

  • One-off fee can only be paid in connection with organized training, the trainer is responsible for payment towards the association. 

  • The manege card is personal and valid for one rider and one horse. Provided that any fellow riders are registered with the office and members of the GFRK, the riding card also applies to them.

  • Vaccination certificates must be presented when requested by staff.

  • Every rider who rides at GFRK's facility has an obligation to follow the rules of order found at the facility.

  • It is not permitted to use the stable's tie-up areas or flush cisterns for horses coming from outside.

  • The booking schedule for the paddock and stables can be found at boka.se, search for gfrk.

  • All those who use the facility's riding tracks without the right to do so will be charged a fee of SEK 2,500 per occasion such use takes place.

Manege and paddock rules 

 

§ 1 Utilization 

Member of Gothenburg Fältrittklubb (Gfrk)  and holders of riding cards have the right to use Gfrk's riding arena and paddock (the riding tracks) under the conditions specified below.  

 

Anyone who uses the facility without the right to do so may be rejected.  

 

Unauthorized use entails a one-off fee of SEK 2,500 per occasion.  

 

 

§ 2 The facility's opening hours and availability  

Use of Gfrk's facilities and riding tracks may only take place during the following opening hours:  

 

Weekdays: 7:00 - 22:00 

Weekend and holiday: 7:00 - 20:00 

 

In the month of July, the facility is closed and during this period the facility and riding tracks may not 

be used.  

 

GFRK's association activities have priority over the riding tracks, which can mean that all 

the facility's riding tracks may be booked up. 

 

In the event of special events/incidents, Gfrk's association activity has the right to take all 

horse tracks in claim.  

 

The riding tracks may be closed during maintenance work.  

 

 

§ 3 General when using the riding tracks 

All users of Gfrk's riding tracks are considered to be a role model for others.  

As a role model, riders and companions are expected to follow GFRK's rules, values and policies which are compatible with the Swedish Equestrian Federation's guiding stars.

It is up to everyone with the right to use Gfrk's riding tracks to keep up to date with the rules, policies and values stated above.  

 

 

§ 4 Especially for use of the riding tracks 

 4.1 All riding takes place at your own risk. 

 

 4.2 All handling of horses such as riding/lunging/emptying must be done with an approved riding helmet.  

 

 4.3 Riders under the age of 18 must wear a safety vest when jumping.  

 

 4.4 Respect the time set aside for the care of the riding tracks. 

 

 4.5 Riders are responsible for their horse being groomed after each completed riding session. 

 

 4.6 Knock/ring the bell and wait for an answer before entering the stable. 

 

 4.7 Dressing and undressing a horse is only permitted if someone holds the horse from the ground. 

 

 4.8 Riders must show consideration  

  • Keep your distance 

  • Right-hand traffic is applied 

  • Steps take place inside the square groove 

  • Halt is done primarily in the middle of the volt 

  • Riders on square tracks have priority 

  • Avoid riding wide 

 

 4.9 Other riders must take into account and give priority to crews that have booked the riding arena for training with trainers. 

 

 4.10 Telephone/headset may not be used when riding/handling a horse on the riding tracks with the exception of training for an instructor, whereby                    an earpiece may be used.  

 

4.11 At the end of the session, the rider must announce when he intends to take the horse out of the arena. 

 

4.12 Spectators are primarily directed to the stands. 

 

4.13 Prams may not be taken onto the riding tracks.  

 

4.14 It is not permitted to ride through the stables. 

 

4.15 Dogs are not allowed on the riding tracks when there are horses there. All dogs must be kept     connected throughout the facility. 

 

4.16 All doors and gates to the riding tracks must be kept closed. 

 

4.17 It is not permitted to release the horse in the arena. After approval by operations manager  permitted resting of loose horses in the paddock.

4.18 Especially about emptying / lunging: 

  • Empty driving / lunging may not be carried out at the same time as riding school lessons. 

  • Empty driving / loning requires booking or other riders' consent at the start. 

  • Other crews must not be denied access to the riding track.  

  • One horse may be ridden/lunged per riding course. 

  • When emptying/lunging, the horse must be equipped with a bridle or hood. 

 

4.19 Only personnel are allowed to raise/lower partitions, turn off mock belts and the like.  

 

 

§ 5 Booking 

All training for instructors must be booked in the booking system Gfrk uses.

Bookings must be made at least one hour before the riding track is planned to be used for training.  

 

During dressage training, the riding track is open to other crews who must then show consideration for the training crew. 

 

Jumping training may not be booked during the time that the riding school's lessons are in progress without the approval of the operations manager. If a rider has booked a riding track for jumping training, the track is reserved for this track. The rider can allow others to use the riding track during the same time. 

 

When booking, a riding track must always be free for other crews to use.  

 

 

§ 6 Coach policy 

Training takes place with consideration of Gfrk's values and policies.  

 

Coaches must be registered for F tax and have their own liability insurance. 

Operations manager must approve external instructor / trainer. Approval takes place on a semester basis.  

 

Trainers must be well acquainted with the Swedish Equestrian Association's standards for good riding and horse handling.  

 

The operations manager has the right to refuse trainers / instructors who act in violation of Gfrk's management rules, values and policies.
